Chrissie (Stacy) Ep 45 - ready
===
Stacy: [00:00:00] And so I started taking a step back and looking at, is there a better way that I could be in this point of existence, really? Um, how can I use my gifts, my inherent energy, to serve everybody else?
Chrissie: focus on the bigger picture. Make sure that you have the time and space you need to take care of the type of energy you are,
Stacy: what really sealed the deal was that when I was researching about my own chart, I saw that the chart actually predicted when I would burn out, when my life would come to a big crossroads like it did, and, and I said, wow, there must be some truth to this because, nothing else explains me or my life like this chart [00:01:00] does.
Chrissie: You're listening to Solving for Joy. I'm your host, Dr. Chrissie Ott.
Hello friends. Welcome to today's episode of the Solving for Joy podcast. I am here with Dr. Stacy Cisneros, someone who is a newer friend, uh, and someone who I immediately felt connected to. She is a practicing wound care physician. Um, but that is just a fact. What actually stands out most about Stacey is her energy; grounded, kind, insightful. She talks about healing as not so much fixing what's broken, but clearing the way so that you can come home to yourself. Stacey uses human design as a tool and a powerful modality called infinity healing. And using those, she helps people shift stuck energy and reclaim their alignment and of course, [00:02:00] their joy.
So today we're gonna talk about knowing ourselves, saying yes to our story and the kind of deep healing that helps Joy become accessible for all. Stacey, I'm so glad you're here. Welcome.
Stacy: Thank you so much, Chrissie. I love talking about my story and seeing who can be helped and who can be inspired by, you know, my journey and, and what it, everything that that's come with it. So thank you so much for that kind introduction.
Chrissie: Absolutely. Um, I have been really intrigued with human design for over a year probably. Um, and I haven't been intrigued enough to take a deep dive, so I'm really excited to learn what you're gonna share today. Um, but before we get into that, I would love for our listeners to know a little bit about where you started and how you arrived where you are today and [00:03:00] how, you know, following joy kind of brought you here.
Stacy: Yeah, definitely. So I went to medical school at University of Illinois and um, I was always interested in doing procedures and more interested in, uh, things that I could see immediate results from. So naturally, you know, I gravitated towards procedure based specialty. So, um, I went into general surgery and the middle of my res residency I actually really burnt out. And it wasn't just, you know, a mental burnout, it was also kind of a spiritual burnout. At the same time, um, my father passed away. And then, um, you know, everything just kind of came to a halt at that point.
And, um, I really needed to take time off just to sit back and recalculate what I was doing wrong. [00:04:00] Uh, time to grieve and time to really ask myself, is this really the path I needed to go in? So I had all this medical debt and there was no way to get a job that was 2008. And I was like, you know, there's, you know, the, the recession was just starting and so everything I applied to just didn't pan out. And so I just took that long needed time just to sit back and just, you know, journal and ask questions about myself and what got me here.
And so in that space of time, I did a lot of different research and I was just asking myself questions about what really is real and, and why is it that this didn't work out for me and I had my entire heart in, in this and it still didn't work. And um, so I started listening to different people's stories online. Uh, different podcasts tell some, it's about different [00:05:00] modalities to heal. So anything ranging from nutrition to energy medicine, um. Different healing modalities, like, uh, mental shifts, binaural beats different, stories came across in people's experiences. And I was very intrigued because this is, this wasn't anything I was taught or, or heard about before. I mean, I had a container in my head about supernatural things, but I just didn't have that direct experience. Um, you know, hearing from people and, and what, uh, works for them and what didn't.
So I heard a lot of stories about people who, um, tried a direct medicine route for their health, like, you know, medicine, surgery, the whole gamut. And those modalities failed for them. But they would tell us about, you know, this person say, did energy healing or reiki. [00:06:00] Or they, you know, went on a shaman journey or something, and all these stories really intrigued me. And so, um, I actually decided to experiment with some of these different healing modalities and practitioners. And at the time, I didn't have a lot of money. I was in medical school debt and I didn't have a job.
So, uh, one of the audios, uh, from this package that this healer was offering was about money, money blocks. And I was like, okay, well I have nothing to lose. I'll listen to the free audio. And so I, I was listening on playback and it was a meditation and it was taking me deeper into, um, what my money beliefs were. And it had, uh, a question, if you know, to answer yes or no, whether I wanted a healing for this particular belief. And at that point I said [00:07:00] yes. And in my body I felt a huge jolt of energy just run through my body. And I was so surprised I wasn't expecting that. And I said, whatever happened here was really real. It, whatever it did, it caused my body to jolt.
And, um, so I, I purchased like that package of audios regarding money beliefs. And then I listened to it and then I, I really felt very relaxed about my situation because, um, I didn't have any more stress around, you know, like writing my checks for my bills or, uh, worrying about where the next income was gonna come from. And so I, the next thing I decided was to have a one-on-one with the practitioner. And when I did um, it was a good session and within two weeks I came into like $10,000. And so I was [00:08:00] like, something, whatever this modality this person is using, I have to understand the backend to what is doing to my consciousness so that it allows me to receive this amount of money because it's effective. It's, it's doing something.
And so I promised myself that if he ever offered a training for this modality that I would definitely wanna do it. And several years later he did offer a training in his modality. And that training is called Infinity Healing. And what it is, is a facilitation between a practitioner and a client. And what happens is the facilitator holds space for the client in their wholeness. And throughout the session it's, um, kind of a nice little hypnosis where the person is, um, guided through a meditation [00:09:00] such that their, their mind is probably like in an alpha phase where you have enough consciousness to be relaxed, but you're also able to answer some questions regarding what beliefs you want to shift and what beliefs you want to download.
And, um, so this was a nice way to access the subconscious in a quick and effective way. And so when I got the training, I got the certification to, you know, be a practitioner and also to train others. And so I used this modality on myself throughout, you know, the day. And it's because you're trained to kind of get into that center deep zone that is actually very powerful, um, to reframe where you're at.
So if your energy's kind of scattered in the moment, once you [00:10:00] take a step back and center, then you can directly access whatever it is you need to access for solutions for whatever problem you have. So it's really effective. I use it on myself during the clinic hours so that I can access, um, solutions that aren't readily available to myself and my patients. So it's been an amazing tool.
And so the second, um, modality that I ran into when I was on this journey searching for different answers was human design. And the way I came across that was very similar. I was listening to different people talk about their experiences and how they can, um, heal their relationships with other people. They can understand themselves better and they can level up their, their life basically. And I was hearing different energy healers proclaimed that they [00:11:00] can see auras and they can see energy moving. And um, I was like. You know, I, I'm not intuitive like that. I, I, I'm not psychic. I, I can't see people's auras, but I would really love to know what energy is, you know, shifting in people, what energy is responsible for the dynamic between different people and, and even within oneself. I would really love a map of that.
And so a couple months later I was listening to, um, Karen Curry Parker, who is a human design, uh, teacher, and she learned under the founder of Human Design, who is Robert Krakauer. He received the transmission and the information in the human design system, and he, he taught it. So the way Kieran Curry taught, taught human design was actually, um, very empowering. uh, she comes from a coaching background, so whatever she was, you [00:12:00] know, explaining, just really made sense to me from a standpoint of personal development.
She was, uh, describing the system and, um, I'll, I'll go through the system really quickly. Um, but basically there's like five energy types and I thought I was running, I thought it was a certain energy type. Basically I was always running. My life, like, um, a generator, manifesting generator. And I thought that's what I, what I was. And um, turns out I'm a projector, which is a very different energy type, and you have to approach life just very differently. And so when she divulged this, I was like, well, I guess I was running my life just like, you know, like a, like a machine. I, I just, that's why I burned out. Like it didn't make any sense to continue in that route.
And so I um, started taking a step back and looking at, is there a better way that I could be in this point of [00:13:00] existence, really? Um, how can I use my gifts, my inherent energy, um, to serve everybody else? Like how, how can I do it the best of my ability? And, um. So, yeah, she showed the human design system, the chart and, and so human design is actually a synthesis of western astrology, the Chinese itching, the chakra system, and Kabbalah. And basically these all come together to help us understand ourselves, to help us understand the dynamics between, you know, two people and to also help us understand how we're interfacing with the rest of the world.
And so, um, really when I saw this, I, I was like, I have to be a chart reader because this is explaining a lot about my energy. Um, [00:14:00] what really sealed the deal was that when I was researching about my own chart, um, I saw that the chart actually predicted when I would burn out, when my life would come to a big crossroads like it did, and, and I said, wow, there must be some truth to this because, you know, nothing else explains me or my life like this chart does.
And so today, um, I'm certified to give readings. Um, I'm also certified to give, uh, composite readings, which is two charts put together and cycle readings. I mean, it's just been such an amazing journey and this is like the biggest gift of insight into a person's beingness. It helps draw out people's understanding of themselves and their purpose. And then with the infinity [00:15:00] healing, that part is actually the part that once we understand who they are and what their block is. The Infinity Healing kind of, helps them overcome that block so that they can come to the next level and just, um, expand their beingness. So it's all really exciting to me. And, um, yeah, I, this is like just the beginning of this journey. So it's, it's been wonderful so far.
Chrissie: Wow. Wow. That is so cool. Um, I did not realized before our first conversation that, um, it, that human design, the construct took. Kaballah, itching chakra system and astrology together. Um, the only thing it's missing is Enneagram types, like weave in there, but I am, I'm thrilled. I'm fascinated to hear [00:16:00] it and, and especially riveting that it predicted, uh, when you would come to this massive crossroads in your life and, um, and have a change of direction, which you know, just to name it, changing direction when the direction you're going is not serving you is such a skillful response. Um, even when it's counterculture, even when there are many ways, it does not look like it makes sense, even when it appears to be against your financial best interest. Um, so kudos for the courage to, um, to take that step when you needed to.
Stacy: Thank you.
Chrissie: Yeah, I came with a chart, uh, today and Stacy has been gracious enough to, uh, offer to read it a bit. So we're gonna have a real live, like example [00:17:00] of what it might be like to have a chart reading. So this came from an app. Um. You know, at certain levels the app is free. So I plugged in my birthplace and time and it spit out this lovely, um, you know, well it's a chart. It has shapes and it has curving lines and straight lines and we'll, we'll show a picture of it, but I have very little idea what I am looking at. Um, and I'm also curious to know what the five energy types are. So I don't know if you'll maybe introduce us to those when it makes sense, or if you want to give those a little preview before you talk about this chart. What do you think?
Stacy: Yeah, let's do a quick preview right now. so when you get your chart, there's usually different boxes colored in. If there's no boxes colored in, there's definitely different gates or connections colored in, [00:18:00] and those decide which ones which centers are colored in. And um, basically there's five energy types. And the five energy types are manifestors, generators, manifesting generators, projectors, and reflectors. And basically, we as a collective come together create and, um, you can see each of those as like a diff, they play a different part in creation.
So the manifesters are usually the, the people who are kinda like the producers in a movie. They get the ball rolling, they get things back rolled. They have this big idea about where something should go. Um, the generators and the manifesting generators are like the actors and the people, the stage crew, the people that put together the sound. Everybody, you know, putting together their best [00:19:00] efforts to make a production. The projectors are the guides. So they're like the directors and they basically tell the actors what needs to go where and how to do it. And then the reflectors, they're like the audience or the critics that they take in the, the whole production. And the point of that is to give back, uh, criticism and feedback so that cycle can start all over again.
So the manifesto can then be like, okay, I'm making a sequel. So everybody plays a part in this kind of creation of life, and you can be any type and do any, um, occupation. You, it's just the different angle at which you're, you're coming at it to. So any type can be successful, any type can be, you know, no type is better than another. So I just wanna , preface that before we actually look at charts.
Chrissie: That's so good. 'cause our [00:20:00] brain always wants to figure out what's, where's the A? Like how do, how do I get an A on my human design chart? Nope. It's not like that. It's not that one is better than the other. I.
Stacy: yeah, it's like, um, you know, our Western culture is, they think we should, you be pulling ourselves up by the bootstraps, like a manifester and know what we're doing. They think we should work like generators and manifesting generators like, like machines basically. And they, and society also thinks we should have self-direction and know how to do things like projectors. And then, you know, it's kind of like we grow up in this culture where too much is expected of us. Like we have these huge like. Expectations that really nobody can measure up to. And they're just, but they're just there. And I think human design is kind of, you know, that, uh, lighthouse that says you don't have to do that. [00:21:00] Like you're whole and you're complete. Let's help you understand your energy.
Chrissie: Fun. So excited to understand this.
Stacy: So this is your human design chart. All charts have all the shapes and they have all the connections. The only thing that differs is what's colored in and what's not. So anything that's colored in is where you have regular energy. And where you, where it is not colored in that's where you actually have, um, intuition, which you do. What you're doing in those open sites is you're pulling energy in from those around you and you're sampling it. And then you amplify it, and then you let it go. So in this sense, you don't have consistent energy in the shapes and gates that are white.
So for you, [00:22:00] actually fully empathic. This is the, um, emotional solar plexus, and you feel big emotions from people and the environment around you. And people like this usually wanna keep the peace. They sometimes when they under, they don't understand that what they're feeling really isn't theirs. They try to avoid conflicts at all costs. And um, you know, just even knowing that what you might be feeling might not even be yours, you might actually just be very intuitive about the other people in your aura. So in a sense, human design can be really a really eye-opening, um, experience for somebody who, you know, might really be confused by [00:23:00] all the different sensations and, um, emotions and thoughts that might be coming their way. They might be, you know falsely saying that that's, these are theirs and it, it's actually not, you're kind of a barometer in this sense.
Okay, so you are a manifesting generator, which means that this is the sacral center and if you, uh, kind of follow every word that's colored in, it makes its way to the throat. The sacral center is a motor. It's the most powerful motor in the entire chart. And this means you have consistent life force energy. You have consistent, um, energy to respond to the world around you. Now, this doesn't mean to say that generators or manifesting generators can't get burned out. The trick is to [00:24:00] understand, um, what opportunities are the right ones for you. And so for generators and manifesting generators, um, that, um, decision making is actually listening to your body.
So this, since this is a sacro center, if you can just focus on that area just beneath the belly button, like right above the pelvis. That area is usually the area that tells the body.
Yes, I have enough energy to do this, or no, I don't. And it's not gonna come in as a yes or no because this is the body, it's kind of like a preverbal type of uhhuh or, mm-hmm. So, and you're gonna feel it down, down in that center. So that's your body telling you whether or not you have the energy to do something. [00:25:00] So when confronted with an opportunity, you know, turn, turn it into a yes or no question. Is this the right opportunity for me? Check in Uhhuh or Uhuh. And then you say, is this the right time for this opportunity? Uhhuh or Uhuh? And this is the most, um, effective tool for. Manifesters and generators to understand their types of energy and to understand and listen to their own bodies, to inform them of the right decisions that are aligned, not just for, you know, the self, but also how that also serves the collective. 'Cause a generator and a manifesting generator are very powerful people have a lot of energy, but when they're burned out, they really can't help very many people.
Chrissie: I I, really identify with [00:26:00] being, you know, fully empathic. I think it is super helpful to remember that maybe not every single thing that I feel originated in my energy system and I really, uh, can confirm, you know, being somebody with a lot of life force energy, which also happens to coincide with an Enneagram type three, which is how I identify. Um, and I do like, without even knowing this, this is actually something that I do regularly, is like, feel for the answer inwardly. You know, like, listen, is this, does it delight me? Does it align with my values? Do I agree with what it costs me? Do I agree with what it costs others? You know, like, do I have time and space for it right now? So it's sort of getting into that. But I like the simplification of is this [00:27:00] the right opportunity for me and is this the right time
Stacy: Yeah. Awesome. I'm glad that you're, you're so attuned that you, you are, you're already answering and asking those questions. That's, that's awesome. The other thing that kind of stuck out to me being on the, um, topic of joy, we actually do have, um, uh, a whole channel devoted to joy, and you actually have one of those gates colored in. So we have this root
Chrissie: Hmm.
Stacy: And this is actually the Splenic Center and, um, and I doing general surgery, I understand that the Splenic Center is on the very wrong side of the body for this, but it's like this to, it's, it's open like this to show appreciation of all the connections. So it's thought that.
Chrissie: Or it's citus and verses [00:28:00] whatever.
Stacy: Yeah. The, the, the thought behind these different shapes that these were, these used to be part of a seven center chakra system. So this used to be called, you know, the, the crown, this was the, the head or the ajna, and then you had a throat, then you had the, the heart center, which is basically, um, this, this diamond here and this little triangle here. These two would equal the, the heart center. And then you would come down to the solar plexus. So it's also thought that that center also split. you have the, uh, splenic center and you also have the emotional solar plexus on this side. And then the last two are basically the same as the sacral center and the root.
And this is, this goes for everybody, everybody has all the different shapes and all the connections and so we have this, uh, channel here. It's called the [00:29:00] channel of of Judgment. It's, um, gate 18, which corresponds to the etching hexagram 18 and, uh, and Gate 58, which also corresponds to the etching, uh, hexagram 58. And basically what this energy is, is it describes that humans, everybody is able to experience joy. And what it teaches about joy is that not only is it, um, an inner thought 'cause the, the splenic center is usually, um, about intuition. It's about our fears. It's also about immunity. It's about, um knowing when to do something like the timing of something. And the root center is about, um, a [00:30:00] pulse of action. So these are different like energies for inspiration and visions for the future.
So together what they do is this energy for joy, which is housed in this channel here is actually part of circuitry that is supposed to benefit the collective. It's also supposed to not just be an internal shift in you, which is what the spleen represents, but also the root. It's also connected to the root, which means that there is action and a pulse, uh, associated with with joy. So, the whole point of this, um, channel is to have the amount of energy available to make judgements and corrections on whatever it is that you're doing so that joy can be multiplied. So [00:31:00] the blocks to joy are things like fear of, of, of it being not perfect. So perfectionism, judgments, criticism, um that's like the dysfunctional, uh, expression of that energy,
Chrissie: Yeah, like the, um, like an upside down, uh, tarot card or something like the shadow side of, of the entity. Wow. I'm just letting those words wash over me a little bit because I feel so much resonance with joy being for the collective and without having ever said those words in that way before, making it a, a languaged form of the understanding that actually animates and motivates and enlivens all of the work that I do in Joy Point solutions in [00:32:00] solving for joy, like my work in the world that's outside of my employment as a physician. My work in the world, that feels like my dharma, that I must get out of me before I take my last breath, you know, is about that, that energy right there. So I feel really just like emotionally, like a little bit touched by that, that clarity.
Stacy: Yeah, and the beautiful thing about this is that, you know, we have all these different lines and connections here. So this is part of, like I said, collective circuitry, which is for the collective ultimately. But it's also part of logical circuitry, which is, um, the themes of logical circuitry are like, you know, math, science, things that are repeatable. And that's why I brought up that whole bit about needing energy to repeat things such that things are [00:33:00] corrected for the higher purpose of joy. So people that have these, um, gates colored in, I always see like a theme of, you know, they're either coaches or judges or some kind of activist for the greater good.
Um, that's the kind of energy that's coming through these gates here, um, you know, through the personality. So, um, I thought that was so awesome that you have this gate 58 colored in that's so apropos and you know, like it's called the Gate of Joy in, in vitality. So, um, it. It's, it's not surprising, but you know, it's, it's also, I'm also delighted whenever I see that correlation in real life. So, yeah. Thank you for sharing your chart.
Chrissie: Yeah, absolutely. It feels like a, a wonderfully confirming sign.
Stacy: Yeah.
Chrissie: Is there any more to share about that or does that feel like a good place to, to [00:34:00] pause?
Stacy: well, I can keep sharing all day long.
Chrissie: I know it could go all day. Um, I would love to learn more, um, about projectors. Um, my daughter is a projector. Um, and there was just a little bit that I read about projectors that probably left me with more questions than answers. But what I took away from it was, basically don't expect a linear course in life. Expect to try a lot of things and for them to not necessarily appear to be. Uh, readily labeled successes, and then later in life you get to reap the benefits of that. And I'm, I could identify with that story myself maybe, but I think, , it, as a parent, I want to hold the right space for a child who is a projector without thinking, uh, that she should be performing like [00:35:00] a generator or any of the other energies.
Stacy: Yeah, so there's a lot of, um, successful projectors that are, you know, they have, very prominent lives. Like for instance, um. Uh, queen Elizabeth was a projector. Prince Diana was a projector. Uh, Barack Obama was a projector, or is a projector, I should mm. Um, you have actors like Brad Pitt is projector. So yeah, it, it just, um, you can have as much, you know, fame or success or, or whatever, no matter what your type, but, uh. Like I said, the key is actually to approach things a little bit differently.
So because projectors don't have that sacral area colored in, they actually can't work at the same rate as a generator basically. [00:36:00] Um, to expect them to do that like right off the bat might not be the winning strategy, but. They do have a lot of energy. They're like sprinters almost. Like if you can, um, imagine you know, somebody just taking in like a lot of candy and then you get this spike right in sugar and then a couple, you know, hours back you have like this sugar crash. That's kind of what it's like when, um, somebody with an open center like that, or they take in energy from other people and they amplify it, and then there's like a crash after after that. So if you're gonna be high performing, you have to be really strategic about how you approach the projects that work, how you approach your career, and to have that career structured around, uh, what your energy needs are.
So myself, [00:37:00] um, I have my own clinic that I do wound care. I, you know, it's just myself and, you know, I answer to my patients. And then I, I do that Monday through Thursday. And then I also have my human design, affinity healing consultation business online. I, I have a lot of side projects that I work on, so it's not like, you know, we're lazy people or anything. We just have to know like, okay, this is my me time, this is the the clinic time. This is, you know, this other project, you have to like, really understand like how to go about this. And then strategically, um, pull in people, get, um, outside help, you know, outsource things, uh, knowing what your strengths and weaknesses are so that you're fully supported in your mission. So yeah, I, I wouldn't really like [00:38:00] poo pooh the whole projector thing, um,
Chrissie: No.
Stacy: we are different in our, you know, outlook on life. Yes, we compared to generators, uh, projectors are actually made to guide other people. So any profession or anything that helps her understand a large swath of people would be absolutely beneficial. So generators, I'm not saying that, you know, generators can't make great therapists or counselors or anything, but their angle when they provide services for other people is more about their, um, their mastery. So things that you are particularly good at, that's what you do, like that's your thing.
Chrissie: Mm-hmm.
Stacy: and you serve people with your skills. Um, the projector usually, uh, serves others with their guidance. Um, [00:39:00] so it, it's a little bit of a different angle, but same outcomes.
Chrissie: I am really appreciating the, the nuance that you have developed in speaking to all of these aspects of it. Um, I think that, you know, we, we have such a tendency to um. Um, to make things incrementally better or worse in our mind. And I just hear over and over again like, stop doing that. See this as part of the bigger picture. Um, you know, focus on the bigger picture. Make sure that you have the time and space you need to take care of the type of energy you are, which is intuitive and broadly applicable.
Stacy: Yeah. Yeah. I, I know for projectors, like rest is a big deal. [00:40:00] Lying, supine or even prone, you know, in the middle of the day is such a game changer to help reboot, you know, our energy. Um, I know in clinic like sometimes I put the, one of the heads of the beds down so that I could just lie down for like 30 seconds and that
Chrissie: Mm-hmm.
Stacy: all that excess energy that is still lingering. And then when I get up, it's like, oh.
Chrissie: I identify with that from, uh, working, you know, busy night shifts. It'll get to be, you know, three o'clock in the morning and there's still, you know, a couple patients waiting to be admitted, but the body is like, must be vertical, even if it's just five or 10 minutes. Like you have to take a break even if somebody has to wait for you 10 minutes longer. Of course [00:41:00] it's nice when you don't have to go to the extreme to, um, to get that, but. Yeah. I love what you've shared here. How are you solving for joy most frequently these days Stacy?
Stacy: Yeah, so you know, ever since I started my journey, it seems like it's just been like a lot of inner work. And at first it was kind of like, God, I'm so broken. Like I have all these negative programs. Why did I, how did I even pick these programs that they're self-defeating? They're, they're not benefiting me. I, you know, I believe all these crazy things and they don't work for me anymore. Like, and I like my money issue. Like, I thought that it was, you know, something that was hard to get and scarce and all these judgements around that. And those things weren't serving me.
And so, and it's just not just, [00:42:00] obviously it's not just the money issue, it's always like a relationship issue. Like, am I good enough or like, am I, am I this enough? Am I bad enough? Am I all the other enoughness? Those are issues with that will center the enoughness self value. The self worth. Um, so the process that I use is that I can't be judging myself. So when I started accepting that, yes, I do hold this judgment against myself, yes, I don't think that I'm good enough or smart enough or whatever, and so I would kind of sit with that. Sit with, I'm not smart enough, let's say. Then I would allow my emotions to kind of bubble up. So what does that bring up? Well, that brings up anger that I'm not, it brings up sadness [00:43:00] that I can't solve this, it brings up, you know, all these other different things. And I sit with that and I say, I accept that I feel angry. I accept that I feel sad. Note, I, I accept it's not, I accept that I am sad or that I am angry because that's a condition, right? I accept that I feel sad because feeling is temporary and it'll flush through my system soon enough.
And so right after, I feel that that gives the entire system, um, space to reboot. So now that I felt that horrible feeling that I needed to feel. Now I'm no longer resisting it. I'm no longer pushing it away. I'm no longer, you know, making excuses to kind of not feel that or to distract myself with whatever, to not feel that now I felt it. I'm over it [00:44:00] next level and you know, that next level is what do I wanna replace that with? So I wanna replace it with I'm enough, everything's enough. Life is abundant. Life is just teaming with joy and, and all I have to do is just ask myself what does that feel like? Like even if I don't know what that feels like, just kind of sit in that question, like, what would it feel like?
Chrissie: the anticipation of feeling it.
Stacy: Yeah. What would that feel like? And just kind of sit with that. And then in a couple moments, sometimes it's answered, sometimes it's not. But the next time around I ask myself, okay, well how do I wanna feel again? I wanna feel happy that I'm me. I wanna feel bliss and [00:45:00] joy that I'm living my life in this body, no matter what happened in my past and just kind of anchoring that and saying, yes, I accept whatever feeling, um, I'm feeling right now, and I'm willing to feel more joy. I'm willing to feel more bliss. I'm willing to feel more happiness, and this whole process is actually like a practice. The more you do it, the easier it is to kind of run through all these blocks and to reboot and to feel something new.
Chrissie: Yes, when I closed my eyes with the question, you know, what would it feel like to feel joy right now? Um, just the invitation sort [00:46:00] of brings the feeling. So what would it be like to feel sufficient right now. What would it feel like to feel worthy right now? What would it feel like to feel immense gratitude right now? What would it feel like to be connected? To feel connected right now? I just feel a lot of stirring in my heart center. And, um, like a little bubbling up of elation and spaciousness. That's a beautiful shortcut.
It's a way to operate the nervous system to towards joy or a feeling that you are needing to feel. Um, and I think that's a super important thing to name. [00:47:00] Um, for those of you who have learned, you know, the thought model either in 12 by 12 or in many other places that you, you know, have been exposed to cognitive behavioral therapy tools, we can actually increase the chances of our actions, um, changing in a beneficial way towards the results we desire when we can conjure up the feeling that promotes those actions, even when our brain is not yet on board with the thoughts that bring the feelings. Starting with that, you know, inner sensation and inner reflection of like, what would it be like to feel blank right now? Um, might actually just bring it out of the ether into your body.
Stacy: Yeah.
Chrissie: So I am feeling delight and alignment and gratitude and like a little bit of [00:48:00] awe for that. All of that right now, Stacy.
Stacy: Beautiful. Yeah, I love what you just described. That's like the manifestation process for people that you're getting in that feeling and you're practicing integrating that until it becomes second nature.
Chrissie: Yes, it is a way to be.
Stacy: Yes.
Chrissie: May we, I'll access it more often. May we remember it when we need to remember it. Um, and, you know, acceptance and commitment therapy is a tool in, um, in psychology where we do accept what we are feeling. You know, it is, it is aligned, it's adjacent to the way that you describe that, and also we are removing ourselves from being absolutely identified or fixated on the experience and misunderstanding ourselves as [00:49:00] angry. Myself is not angry. Um, myself is experiencing the feeling of anger. Yeah.
Stacy: It's an important distinction and I like the human design also makes that distinction between feeling emotions and the word feeling of being.
Chrissie: right. Our beingness does not change. Our emotions come in and out like weather systems. I am feeling so enriched, um, by our exchange today. Stacy, thank you for, uh, sharing your expertise and looking at my chart and having, having this fun together.
Stacy: thank you so much for bringing me on. I just love sharing um pieces of my journey and the modalities that helped me. I [00:50:00] hope everybody got something out of this. Um, yeah, this is just a joy to share on my part, so thank you so much.
Chrissie: Hooray. And for people who would like to learn more, reach out to you, maybe have an experience for themselves with human design and or infinity healing, um, tell us how we can find you.
Stacy: Yeah, you can, email me at infinite level [email protected], or you can go to my website, infinite Level Healings with an s um, dot com. Uh, you can schedule a session with me there and, uh, yeah. So thank you so much for this opportunity. Really appreciate it.
Chrissie: Awesome. My pleasure. Thanks again.
Speaker: Thank you again to Dr. Stacy Cisneros for such a thoughtful and generous conversation. I'm still [00:51:00] reflecting on what it means to move through the world with intention. How healing often begins by simply remembering who we are and honoring the energy we actually have. Next week . I'll be joined by Dr. Mc McDonald. That's Mary Catherine to the uninitiated, uh, trauma researcher and author of this amazing book called The Joy Reset. We are a match made in heaven. We'll talk about the six thieves of joy, the quiet wisdom of tiny moments, and why joy isn't the opposite of pain. It's what lives beside it. I hope you'll join us. This is probably my first guest that I've also shared with Mel Robbins, so there's that.
